I need a painter! OH NO

Hello everyone! We are still working on the house, sometimes it feels like we will never be done but we will make it!!! We have the porch built and now need to get the old part of the house painted to match the new. I'm the designated painter but I'm not crawling up the ladder to the second story! LOL I think Virgil's going to have to take over that job. Does anyone out there like to paint and not afraid of heights? I'll trade you, a paint job for a weekend at the Inn free. Well keep checking back, I'll update again next week. See you at the Inn!

The bedrooms are almost done!!

Wow, I didn't realize it had been so long since I had updated everyone. Three of the bedrooms are almost complete! I am heading out tomorrow night to by the rest of the wall hangings I need. I will have pictures up this week so you can all tell me what you think. It was so fun doing the decorating, I have so many ideas it's hard to stay on track!

I do have a little problem though. I am not going to be able to open when I was hoping to. The renovations are taking longer then expected. Now that the weather is cooperating hopefully we can get going again. I will be pushing the opening date to the end of July.

No Rest for the weary!

We were able to get a lot done this weekend! The bedrooms are all ready for carpet and the upstairs is complete! WOOHOO! Now I am waiting on the kitchen tile. This may take a while since my husband has been called out of town for work. If you want to know the truth I think he was happy to be going! I still need to decorate the bedroom walls and then I will be getting some pictures added. I do have the opening dates under the DATES AVAILABLE section so don't waste any time getting in on the grand opening! There will be prizes and all sorts of fun!

Long weekend!

After an exhausting weekend, we now have most of the siding up and most of the bedrooms completed! Can you believe it?? Still a long way to go but we are getting closer. Thank you to everyone that helped out!
